Markbook and assessment

• A weighted-average markbook per class, with a real formula engine across columns (values, percentages,

folders, tags and statistics) and depth rules like drop-lowest, best-of-N, rounding and goal-seek.

• Named tabs to split a class (Autumn/Spring/Summer, or Classwork vs Assessments) while calculations still

span every tab.

• Cell types for numbers, rubrics, a stopwatch that still averages and sorts like a number, and a short

note with a quick icon flag.

• Per-column conditional formatting (green/amber/red), fill-down, paste a column straight from a

spreadsheet, and clear-column.

• Anonymous marking that hides names behind candidate numbers, and a round-off scale that lifts a mark just

below a boundary up to it (never down).

into the saved file; annotate a photo of handwritten work too.

• Explainer-video feedback: talk through a pupil's work while you annotate it, composited into a clip on

your machine.

• Turn a spoken note into structured written feedback (What went well / Even better if / Next step),

transcribed on-device and fully editable before saving.

• Reusable banks of spoken clips and written comments, drop-in quick phrases, and rubric marking that flows

its total to the gradebook.

AI, on your terms

• Every AI feature is optional and off until you switch it on. You bring your own provider and key, and can

choose from a range of providers.

• PII-Shield: pupil names are replaced with tokens before any AI request and restored on your machine

afterwards, with a panel showing exactly what was sent. Children's data never leaves the device attached

to a real name.

• AI marking against your own mark schemes, one pupil or a whole class, with a per-mark-point breakdown you

review and approve before anything saves. Answers can come from paste, a photo of the handwritten script

read on-device, or a Google Classroom pull.

• Mark in Welsh while working in an English interface, or the reverse.
• On-device transcription (offline) powers feedback notes, oracy, reading fluency and notebook audio.
• Helpers for misconception-spotting, marking consistency, a calm safeguarding triage that always points

back to your school's own procedures, group-making, report drafting and parent messages, all

Planning and the Curriculum for Wales

SEND-friendly visual timetables.

• Export as print, PDF, a themed PowerPoint deck, an editable Word document with a separate answer key, or a

self-grading Google Form.

• Proper mathematical notation in preview, print and PDF, and a one-click "generate a set" (starter,

worksheet and exit ticket from the same source).

• Send a worksheet straight to Google Classroom as a published assignment, or its multiple-choice questions

and video narration), synthesised on your machine using a Welsh model from Bangor University's language

technology unit, with attribution recorded in the app.

• Welsh spelling and grammar checking that follows your cursor onto any field, and a Welsh literacy toolkit

Sync and sharing

own Google Drive, with no server and nobody else able to read it.

• Conflict-safe reconciliation (newest value wins, with a reviewable history), a free read-only web viewer

you can add to a phone's home screen, and a clear separation between full backups and live sync.
